The town also had a Primitive Methodist Chapel, on Windy Hill Lane, at NZ 6356 2229. Demolished, it's dated here to 1858, and closed in the second quarter of the last century. Its site (the right hand half of the present building) was seen by Streetview in 2023.

St. Bede (R.C.) on Mount Pleasant Avenue and Southfield Road, as seen by Streetview in 2023. Link, wherein it's dated to 1936-7.

St. Mark (see below) was built to replace St. Germain's, of which only the tower now remains. Already in use only as a mortuary chapel by the time of the 1894 OS map, the rest of the church was demolished in 1955-6 or 1960 depending on the source consulted.
