The former Christ Church (mostly demolished), on Wellington Road North and Church Road. SJ 889 909. © Mike Berrell. Hoard Richter advises that the building dates from the mid 1840's, was declared redundant in 1973, and, following a fire in 1977, partly demolished. The remains are in the care of the Church Conservation trust. Link. Grade II listed.
