Previously in the "Unknown" section, this unlabelled sketch was drawn by an ancestor of Michael Foot in the 1890's. It has a small text addition mentioning repairs in 1815, when the church warden was a John Smith. Simon Davies has identified it as St. James. He says it was "drawn before the awful west tower of 1904 was built. In 1815, the aisles were removed and the nave patched up with brick buttresses". This photo shows it as it appeared in 1955.
