St. Andrew. The leaning tower is real. © Pamela Weston. Another view. © Andrew Ross. An old postcard view, (from Steve Bulman's Collection) previously in the "Unknown" section. Thanks to Garry Barr for the identification. Another old postcard view, this one from Andrew Ross's Collection. Andrew dates it to ca. 1930. Link1. Link2.

Possible church. Another view. ST 307 487. Both © Andrew Ross. Catharine Sharples (who used to live here) has suggested that it could be "La Retraite", a girls' school, and which used to be known as "The Convent". Certainly there are references to "La Retraite Convent" on the Internet, but I can't find any photos. If this IS the convent school, then the photo perhaps shows their chapel. My appreciation to David Jennings who has confirmed that all of the above details are correct.
