Christ Church on Church Road. Its grade II* listing dates it to 1789-90. SJ 7889 5567. © Len Brankin. Link. A pair of gatepiers is also listed, as grade II.

Hassall Road Methodist Church. Older maps label it as Wesleyan. SJ 7877 5538. © Len Brankin. By 2023 the church had closed and been converted into a bookshop.

The 1" O.S. map of 1952 shows a place of worship on Crewe Road at SJ 7930 5541. Unlabelled, it's identified here (where there are photos) as Crewe Road Primitive Methodist Chapel, and dated to 1862-1969. Its site now lies beneath a row of shops (2023 Streetview).

St. Gabriel (R.C.) on Lawton Road. SJ 8043 5567. © Len Brankin. Link.

St. Mary Magdalene (CoE, 1894-8). SJ 7954 5548. © Len Brankin. Interior view, © Gervase N. E. Charmley (2010). Link. Grade II listed.

Seventh-day Adventist Church on Linley Road, as seen by Streetview in 2023. SJ 8073 5505. Link. It seems to be the same building (tin tabernacle) as is shown on the Genuki page for St. Patrick (R.C.). If it is the same building then it may have been moved, as the grid ref. on Genuki places it a little way to the N.E. Alternatively, the grid ref. might be slightly inaccurate.
